Day One — The Most Beautiful Places of Imereti and Racha

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Gogni Shrine of St. George Karugdebeli — a sacred place of special grace, traditionally believed to help childless couples;

Nakerala Pass — a beautiful mountain road offering spectacular panoramic views;

Tskhrajvari — an impressive viewpoint overlooking the landscapes of Racha and Imereti;

Shaori Reservoir — one of the most beautiful natural treasures of Racha;

Nikortsminda Cathedral — an outstanding monument of Georgian architecture, famous for its unique stone carvings and spiritual grandeur;

Barakoni Church of the Mother of God — a masterpiece of Georgian architecture standing near the confluence of the Rioni and Lukhuni rivers;

 The Miraculous Church of St. George in Mravaldzali — one of Racha’s most remarkable and sacred places of worship.

? According to local tradition, when an Ottoman army approached the village, darkness and thick fog suddenly descended upon the area. The soldiers could no longer see the road, lost their direction and began falling from the cliffs of Cholevi. Frightened by what was happening, the invaders started praying. The fog then lifted, revealing the Church of St. George before them. This miracle is connected to the legend about the extraordinary spiritual power of the Mravaldzali shrine.

 Cholevi Lake — a peaceful and beautiful lake surrounded by lush greenery.

 The total walking distance to the lake and back is approximately 4 kilometres — a very easy and pleasant walking route.

 In the evening, we will check into a family guesthouse and rest.

Day Two — The Magnificent Nature of Upper Racha

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

 Ambrolauri — morning departure toward Upper Racha;

Oni Synagogue — one of Georgia’s most remarkable historical and cultural monuments;

Utsera Mineral Springs — a mountain resort famous for its natural healing mineral waters;

Ghebi — an outstanding mountain village in Upper Racha, known for its ancient history and breathtaking natural surroundings;

Gona — a beautiful mountain village offering unforgettable views of the Caucasus peaks.

 In the evening, we will depart for Tbilisi.

Estimated arrival time in Tbilisi: 11:30 PM.
